Terms and Conditions

You must be at least 18 years of age and the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

You may hold one creator account in the Program. Creating multiple accounts under different identities is prohibited and will result in removal and forfeiture of unpaid earnings.

Your posting account must be publicly accessible. Content posted to private accounts, or later made private, cannot be verified and will not earn.

Melbora may request tax documentation appropriate to your country of residence before issuing payment. Where such documentation is requested, payment will not be issued until it has been provided.

You participate in the Program as an independent contractor. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship. You are responsible for your own taxes, equipment, schedule, and method of work.

You retain all copyright and ownership in content you create. Melbora claims no rights in your content and will not reproduce, repost, edit, or use it in advertising.

You represent that you own or have the rights to all elements of the content you submit, including music, footage, and the likeness of any identifiable person appearing in it, and that its use will not infringe the rights of any third party.

Content must be published to a public account on an approved platform and the post URL submitted through the designated channel.

Approved platforms are TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Publishing content does not guarantee payment. Each submission is reviewed and must be approved before it earns. Melbora may decline a submission for failure to meet any requirement stated in these terms or in the Program's published rates at the time of posting.

View counts are recorded on a fixed weekly schedule. Payment is calculated against the count recorded at that time.

Content earns for thirty (30) days from its original publish date. Views accruing after that period do not earn.

Only views on the original submitted post are counted. Reposts, duplicates, and cross-posts of the same content do not earn separately.

Content that is deleted, set to private, or removed by the platform ceases to earn from the date of removal. Earnings already approved and recorded remain payable.

The following will result in a declined submission, removal from the Program, or both:

• Purchasing, botting, or otherwise artificially inflating views, likes, or engagement
• Submitting identical or substantially identical content across multiple accounts
• Re-uploading or submitting content created by another person
• Operating more than one creator account in the Program
• Making claims about Melbora, its products, or its performance that do not appear in the provided script
• Content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or that violates the terms of service of the platform on which it is posted

Where fraud is identified, unpaid earnings associated with the affected content are forfeited.

Payouts are issued weekly for approved earnings recorded at the most recent measurement date.

Payment is made via Stripe. You are responsible for completing Stripe's payout setup, including connecting a bank account capable of receiving payments, and for keeping that information accurate. Payment will not be issued until setup is complete.

You select a payout track when you join the Program. One change of track is permitted within your first thirty (30) days. Current rates are published at https://ugc.melbora.com/

Melbora may change Program rates prospectively with notice posted to the Program's Discord server. Content published before a rate change earns at the rate in effect when it was published.

Either party may end participation in the Program at any time and for any reason.

On termination, approved earnings that have not yet been paid will be paid out on the next scheduled payout date, except where termination results from conduct described in Section 6.

Melbora may update these terms. Material changes will be posted to the Program's Discord server. Continued participation after a change constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms or from participation in the Program will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.
